HI, i'm Jack
About me
My curiosity for design began long before I ever knew what “design” really meant. As a kid, I’d tag along with my architect uncle to job sites, wide-eyed at the way raw spaces slowly transformed into something purposeful and alive. Those early experiences—paired with my mom’s love for French décor and her instinct for beauty in the everyday—shaped how I see the world: through a lens that values balance, texture, and storytelling in form.
As I grew older, that sense of wonder evolved into a genuine pursuit of design as both craft and philosophy. I’ve come to believe that good design is equal parts logic and emotion—it should make sense, but it should also make you feel something. Whether sketching ideas, refining materials, or exploring new fabrication techniques, I approach each project with a mix of curiosity, discipline, and a bit of playfulness that keeps the process exciting.
Outside of design, I find grounding in the things that reconnect me to life’s rhythm—hiking through quiet trails, lifting at the gym, cooking something new, or getting lost in a good album. These moments fuel my creativity and remind me that inspiration rarely comes from a desk alone.
